Description
The DIXI DHP 80 is a high-performance CNC horizontal machining centre designed for the precise and cost-effective complete machining of complex workpieces. Thanks to the horizontally mounted main spindle, the CNC-controlled rotary table as the B-axis and the generous travel ranges, the machine is particularly well-suited to multi-sided milling, drilling and threading operations in a single set-up.
The machine is equipped with a Siemens Sinumerik 840D control system, a high-performance main spindle with an SK50 tool holder, and an automatic tool changer with 20 positions. The integrated pallet changer, featuring two pallets measuring 800 × 800 mm each, enables loading and unloading whilst production is in progress, thereby reducing non-productive times.
With travel distances of 1,200 mm on the X-axis and 1,100 mm each on the Y- and Z-axes, the DIXI DHP 80 offers a generous working area. Workpieces with dimensions up to approx. Ø 1,200 × 1,200 mm and a weight of up to 1,500 kg can be machined. The robust machine design, a spindle power of up to 39 kW and a torque of up to 540 Nm make the machine suitable even for demanding machining tasks.
The machining centre is suitable, amongst other things, for mechanical and plant engineering, tool and mould making, and for the production of complex individual parts and small batches.
