Description

History:
The first owner of this machine was a company from the Netherlands (Boxtel). We bought the machine together with other machines from our business partner in Hamburg. Our business partner purchased it from the original owner in 2013 for a special order. The machine was to be modified for this special order. The modifications were as follows:

- Dismantling and removal of the tool changer/manipulator
- Installation of a hollow headstock with 1,000 mm face plates on the front and rear of the headstock to fit the 520 mm spindle passage
- Adaptation of the tailstock to the hollow headstock

The hollow headstock comes from a machine from England, with which threads were reworked. The hollow headstock has hardly been used and is in very good condition.

Due to an operational reorganisation, the machine was then dismantled in 2021 and has been in storage ever since.

Condition:
All components of the machine are in very good condition for their age. The tool changer is complete and can be reactivated if required. Only the severed cables would need to be reconnected. The mechanical adaptation of the headstock has been fully completed, with the headstock being raised by 50 mm. Only the transmission ratio of the hollow headstock still needs to be adjusted in the PLC of the control unit.
