Description

• Overhauled in 2025 and 2026
• The spindle was relubricated and new spindle bearings fitted in 2025 by technicians from TOS Varnsdorf
• 12-month warranty and guarantee on geometric accuracy

Scope of repairs to the X, Z and B axes
1. Complete dismantling and cleaning of the machine bed for the X and Z axes as well as the B axis
2. Regrinding of X and Z axis guide ways at Czech manufacturer of CNC horizontal boring machines
3. Removal of the old lining from the X- and Z-axis slides and the B-axis
4. Anchoring of re-grinded X and Z axis machine bed
5. New, hand-scraped lining made from Biplast-V on the X- and Z-axis slides, and from new Biplast-V on the B-axis
6. Installation of ball screws, linear scales and other components of the X- and Z-axes
7. Cleaning and, where necessary, replacement of clogged central lubrication lines
8. Inspection of all lubrication points using an external lubrication unit
9. Inspection of geometric accuracy using a hand-held electric drill attached to the end of the ball screw
10. New oil grooves in the Biplast V lining
11. New guide wipers on the guideways
12. Guarantee of the geometric accuracy of the X, Z and B axes in accordance with the accuracy of a brand-new TOS Varnsdorf WHN(Q)13
13. The anchored and levelled X and Z machine beds have been documented as accepted. Measurement is carried out using a Weller digital spirit level. The feed movements of the X and Z-axis slides are performed using an electric hand drill attached to the end of the ball screw.
