Description

The machine was geometrically retrofitted in 2009, equipped with latest CNC control Siemens SINUMERIK 840 D and was not used since


The TITAN SC 27 is suitable for machining of middle sized cast iron and welded blanks. Turning, inner and outer threading
and grooving are the main operations. Both columns of the TITAN SC 27 generate together with the upper beam a stiffly
frame to ensure a high statical accuracy. The columns are made of cast iron and they are bolted and doweled with the upper
beam. This construction guarantees a high cutting force. The cross-rail is provided with 4 guideways for a high accuracy of
the support travel. Indexing rails are mounted on the columns to fix the cross-rail each 200 mm. The swivelling support is
hydraulically balanced. The faceplate is supported by two taper roller bearings, which ensures high concentricity of table
(faceplate). The machine is equipped with a CNC control Siemens SINUMERIK 840 D, Heidenhain measuring systems,
Siemens motors, electrical cabinet by Siemens and a 12-fold tool changer. All guides are retrofitted or changed respectively.
